Danny Drewes is a celebrated counter-tenor based in New York City. Hailing from Long Island, NY, Danny is a graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy.
Danny's remarkable vocal talents are featured in the highly anticipated musical fantasy film Wicked, and its motion picture soundtrack.
As an original cast member in the first national company of Broadway’s Pretty Woman The Musical, Danny has graced stages across the country and also appeared off-Broadway in revivals of For Goodness Sake and Sail Away. He earned a Berkshire Theatre Critics Award nomination for his standout performance as Trent Oliver in The Prom, starring alongside Tony® nominee Kate Baldwin. Other notable roles include Shakespeare in Something Rotten!, Stacee Jaxx in Rock of Ages, and Sonny Malone in Xanadu.
Danny is currently bringing his one-man shows Danny's Diamonds and Dreamin' of Broadway to audiences worldwide aboard luxury cruise lines.
